population of 4.3 million.
The region is served by commercial
airports at Cleveland, Akron/Canton and Youngstown. Motor freight
options abound with over 160 carriers in the region. Northeast Ohio is
also a major rail corridor served by the Class One carriers and
service oriented short line railroads.

Portage County, conveniently located in Northeast
Ohio’s industrial, educational and recreational heartland, features a
robust economy, a rural small town environment and all the amenities
of Northeast Ohio within a one-hour drive. Formed as part of the
Connecticut Western Reserve, Portage County has a population of
152,061 and encompasses over 500 square miles.
